Kloxo-MR is a free and open-source web hosting control panel for CentOS and Red Hat Linux distributions. It allows the host administrators to run a combination of lighttpd or Apache with djbdns or BIND, and provides a graphical interface to switch between these programs without losing data. It is also known as a good free alternative to cPanel web hosting control panel.<\/p>\n

The tutorial was prepared with our “CentOS 7” template and is meant to work on our self-managed virtual private servers.<\/p>\n

0. Preliminary requirements:<\/p>\n

<\/b>Freshly installed “CentOS 7<\/b>” template;<\/p>\n

1. Server preparation<\/p>\n

<\/b>Before installing Kloxo-MR we recommend to make\u00a0minimal OS<\/a>.\u00a0Note:<\/b>\u00a0it is not required, but highly recommended.
\nAfter it we have to perform system update:<\/p>\n

yum update -y<\/code><\/p>\n

2. Kloxo-MR Control Panel installation<\/b><\/p>\n

First we have do install required software:<\/p>\n

yum install yum-utils yum-priorities vim-minimal subversion curl zip unzip -y<\/code><\/p>\n

yum install telnet wget -y<\/code><\/p>\n

Secondly we have do download installation script:<\/p>\n

cd \/tmp<\/code><\/p>\n

rpm -ivh https:\/\/github.com\/mustafaramadhan\/rpms\/raw\/master\/mratwork\/release\/neutral\/noarch\/mratwork-release-0.0.1-1.noarch.rpm<\/code><\/p>\n

Then we have do remove cached packages and headers:<\/p>\n

yum clean all<\/code><\/p>\n

Update mratwork RPM:<\/p>\n

yum update mratwork-* -y<\/code><\/p>\n

For Kloxo-MR installation you should perform commands:<\/p>\n

yum install kloxomr7 -y<\/code><\/p>\n

sh \/script\/upcp<\/code><\/p>\n

Please be patient because Kloxo-MR installer can run more than 15 minutes.<\/p>\n

3. Loging in to your Kloxo-MR
\n<\/b>
\nAfter installation you will be able to access your Kloxo-MR instance with browser:<\/p>\n

HTTP:\u00a0http:\/\/your-server-ip:7778<\/a><\/code>
\nHTTPS:\u00a0https:\/\/your-server-ip:7777<\/a><\/p>\n

Default logins will be:<\/p>\n

Username:\u00a0admin<\/b>
